Wonder who's been reading my blog? Can't say that with a straight face.
However, I found it humorous because I had people calling me today while at the Dr's office saying "they had to be reading "my" blog." (talking about what was being reported on Headline News this am) My generic response became, "Do you know how may other blogs about this case is out there?" But I thank everyone for the appreciate thoughts, and those that think, although simple, "there is great information here."
Update to Kio Marie Torrez-Cruz to follow momentarily.
In a statement dated August 12, 2008, Casey's school friend and neighbor, Kiomarie Torres-Cruz, gave OCSO a description of the exact spot where remains were found. Her statement added, in her opinion, that Casey would bury Caylee there because that is where they would hang out. It was also a place for children to bury their pets.
Remember, you read it here first.
I too have following this story closely. I heard on the radio this week that the spot that Carlee was found was an pet cemetery. I have tried to find a news article about this but your site was the only thing I could find. Why haven't the authorities look there before now?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous:
ReplyDeleteYou are correct about the site being a "pet cemetary" of sorts. All of the neighborhood children would bury their pets there. It has been reported that Casey buried a hamster there during her childhood.
This could also be a reason for many of the other bones being found, but forensics will be able to determine if human or animal, at times, on site.
Sorry I didn't get to your comment sooner. Now it appears we have another question to get answers to. How did this same utility worker call and report this "bag" not once, but three times in August? OCSO said they investigated, but thought it was "cleared" by cadaver dogs. Then that same worker is the one to happen upon the remains last week. Why did he not state that in the 911 call? It may not be anything, LE says the worker is not suspect. But along with his tip calls, Kiomarie's statement and then he finds the remains... something is amiss... IMO
