Casey Anthony was injured and needed medical treatment during the transport process today. Casey's leg shackles were caught in the elevator shaft, causing Casey to fall forward, hitting her face on the floor outside the elevator.
Reports reveal that the fall resulted in a chipped tooth for Casey, as well as contusions and scrapes on her face, knees, hands and arm. Casey received immediate medical attention and had her chipped tooth repaired--all provided by Orange County.
Casey did was not present at her court hearing as she waived her right to appear. Casey opted for medical treatment.
