Jose Baez's appearance on NBC's Today Show August 3, 2011. Matt Lauer interviewed Jose Baez regarding Casey Anthony's probation.
Baez states in the interview that he was not in the state of Florida on August 1, when the order was issued, and neither was his client.
Baez claims it would be a great security issue for Casey to return to Orlando to serve her probation sentence -- the same probation that Casey completed in jail, while awaiting her trial. Isn't this the primary reason for "probation"? It is to be served in lieu of or after a jail sentence, with the sole purpose to ensure the probationer follows set orders by the court--while NOT incarcerated.
