John Travolta and Kelly Preston's 16 year old son, Jett Travolta, was pronounced dead today from a seizure.
The Travolta family was vacationing in the Bahama's at the Old Bahama Bay Resort in West End. A caretaker found Jett unconscious in the bathroom. Reports say Jett had a seizure at 10am local time, all attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Cause of death is unknown at this time and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday, January 5, 2008.
Afterwards, Jett's body will be transported to Ocala, Florida, for burial.
The Travolta's also have a daughter, Ella Bleu, who is 8 years old.
John's attorney, Michael Ossi, has been providing press releases for the family. The Travolta family has not yet made a formal statement.
The Travolta family has always been private when it has come to their children. Reports are that Jett could have suffered from Kawasaki's Disease or meningitis. These are just speculative theories by experts at this time. Again, an autopsy will be performed on Monday to determine the cause of death.
