Caylee Anthony Sings "You Are My Sunshine" Video
This is from the last video made of Caylee Marie Anthony, on June 15, 2008.
Caylee and Cindy Anthony visited Cindy's father for Father's Day at the retirement home where he resides.
Please keep in mind, as you watch, how lively, yet sometimes shy Caylee seems. She receives a compliment about her singing from one of the nurses in the background and she hides her face.
I have heard others say she looks frightened, scared, etc. She is a 2 year old little girl at a retirement home. She has visited her "PaPa" before. Even though she enjoyed visiting him, she may not have enjoyed the surroundings of the retirement home. If Caylee did not like doctors' visits, and what young child does,(what adult does, for that matter?) the retirement home just may have made her uncomfortable to be in. What with all the nurses and equipment. Cindy's father may have also changed in appearance from when Caylee last saw him. Children pick up on every detail. She asks "PaPa", "You tired, PaPa?" She was concerned for him and clearly shows she was a loving child. I do not think she was showing "fright" or was in any type of "despair". In another portion of the video, not shown here, Cindy even states that Caylee is getting tired.
All I think about when I watch, is this is the final video of this beautiful little girl. Perhaps, the final, full day of her life. How fitting the song. I cry each time I watch, and I hug my daughters tighter.
According to what I have read, I do not believe George saw Casey and Caylee on Monday the 16th of June. I believe after the fight between Cindy and Casey on Sunday, the 15th, Casey left with Caylee, as we know, and spoke to Tony Lazzaro, as we know. I believe Casey wanted to retreat to Tony's that night to get away from Cindy after the fight and Tony, for whatever reason, asked Casey not to bring Caylee with her that night. After that, I feel Casey did something to Caylee that ultimately ended her life.
Please watch and pray for Caylee. At that moment in time, on this video, captured now forever, Caylee was happy. A happy, smart, beautiful, little girl, which she will always remain.
Caylee, you are our sunshine, you'll never know dear how much we love you...
