Parents of Casey Anthony, George and Cindy Anthony: "Casey Will Not Stay At Our Home During Probation"
Casey Anthony not returning to Hopespring Drive during one year probation sentence for check fraud
Casey Anthony has been ordered to return to her hometown of Orlando, Florida to serve a one-year probation stemming from a check-fraud incident in 2008, but one place that Anthony will not be going is the home of her parents on Hopespring Drive.
Lippman stated the Anthonys are still recovering from the emotional trial.
“They are really trying to move forward. They have been through a lot, and they’re figuring out their next step,” Lippman said about his clients.
Lipmann was asked if Anthony’s parents would take a call from their daughter if she called them. “That depends on a lot of things,” Lippman said in a response. “I don’t think they know what they would do until it happened. And their answers would probably be different. Cindy might, but George might not.”, Lippman added.
George Anthony was accused of molesting Casey when she was young, an allegation he denies.
Although Anthony’s defense argued that it would be unsafe for Anthony to serve probation in Orlando where she remains overwhelmingly disliked, Judge Belvin Perry — who presided over Anthony’s murder trial — noted that although she would have to serve a year in Orlando, he wouldn’t release the address of where she decides to stay.
As outlined in Casey Anthony's orders of probation, Casey Anthony MUST comply with the following:
(1) must allow her probation officer to visit her home or employment location on the fifth of every month,
(2) must not drink alcohol to the extent that “her normal faculties are impaired,”
(3) must work a “lawful occupation and support any dependents to the best of [her] ability.”
In addition, Casey Anthony must pay probation charges of $20 plus a 4% surcharge every month.
NOT change her residence, employment, nor leave the county without getting consent.
NOT have possession of a weapon without consent.
NOT have possession of, nor use marijuana or other controlled substances
In 2010, Anthony was convicted of stealing a friend’s (Amy Huizenga) checkbook and forging checks totaling up to $400 to buy clothing, alcohol and groceries.
Anthony must report to a probation officer in Orlando no later than August 26 at noon.
Below is video surveillance of Anthony cashing a forged check in the amount of $250.00 at the Bank of America branch - which occurred on July 15, 2008. Casey passed other forged checks at Target and Winn Dixie during the time period Amy was on vacation on Puerto Rico. Huizenga returned to Orlando on July 15, 2008.

July 15, 2008 Casey Anthony picked Amy up at Orlando International Airport after Amy returned from a vacation to Puerto Rico. It was during this time Amy allowed Casey to drive Amy's car--where Casey found Amy's checkbook in the glove compartment.
July 15 is also the same day Amy took Cindy Anthony to Tony Lazzaro's apartment to speak to Casey regarding Caylee's whereabouts and money that Cindy had discovered missing from her own banking accounts. This occurred shortly before Cindy made the first of a series of 911 calls to report her granddaughter Caylee missing.
Casey Anthony was first arrested on July 16, 2008 in connection with the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Anthony.
Anthony was arrested and formally charged on the check fraud charges on September 12, 2008.
