UPDATE 12/29/08: Cindy And George Anthony Seeking Large Venue For Caylee's Memorial Service

Update to previous post-
video below

Brad Conway, the Anthony's attorney wanted to reiterate that the Anthony's are NOT soliciting donations earmarked for Caylee's funeral or memorial service. They are planning a private funeral service after the holidays, and a public memorial as well.

Large Venue Sought

While he did not name a date or place for the tributes, Conway did say, "The public memorial will have to be located at a large venue so that everyone who wants to pay their last respects to this beautiful child may do so," Conway said.

A spokesman for the jail where Caylee's mother and accused murderer, Casey Anthony, is being held pending trial said that Casey would not be able to attend a funeral or memorial service because of the charges against her, as well as for safety and security reasons. Casey is charged with first degree murder, and being held without bond.

Jose Baez Files New Motion; LE: Anthony's Gave Casey "Too Much Credit"

Casey Anthony's lawyer Jose Baez has files a new motion Monday

Jose Baez

Jose Baez was back to work on behalf of his client, Casey Anthony, Monday. After a short hiatus from the Christmas holiday, Baez was filing motions Monday afternoon to safeguard privileged attorney client information regarding the case.
Baez is worried detectives are trying to obtain privileged information about the case from a private detective who used to work for his defense team, so he's asking a judge to intervene.

Baez is asking the judge to appoint a "special master" to oversee any questioning of the private investigator by law enforcement.

The private eye is a familiar face to insiders. His name is Dominic Casey, who, early on, worked for Baez. Then in October, George and Cindy Anthony hired him to follow up on "live sightings" of Caylee Anthony.

Also, there is a video tape that has surfaced. A video of the the area in which Caylee's remains were found December 11, 2008. Sources close to the case say that Dominic Casey, an ex-employee of Jose Baez and Company, had Jim Hoover video tape the exact area in mid-November. In October, 2008, Dominic Casey left Baez's firm and was hired by George and Cindy Anthony as thier own private investiagtor.

Baez said law enforcement is now showing an interest in questioning Dominic Casey and he (Baez) wants to make sure LE does not obtain privileged information Dominic Casey may have learned while working for Baez.

Anthony's Expected To Be Candid With Investigators Regarding Casey
Cindy and George Anthony

The Anthony's face the wrenching task of burying Caylee early in the New Year, but then, sources tell said, George, Cindy and Lee Anthony will be asked to play a pivotal role in holding Casey Anthony accountable or else.

As one investigator put it, "They're going to be asked to help convict her."

If the Anthony's are not candid and truthful, sources said, it may come to obstruction of justice charges against one or more of them.

Medical examiner Jan Garavaglia said it's unlikely they'll ever be able to determine a definitive cause of death, but sources said toxicology tests done on Caylee's hair will "give us clues in that direction." Remnants of certain drugs and toxins can still be present in hair. Also, amount of drug or toxin and the length of time they were present in the body may also be able to be determined by hair.

However morbid, the duct tape helped the case by preserving the hair for toxicology.

The duct tape found on Caylee's skull proves what some sources close to the investigation have suspected about her death all along -- "It wasn't an accident."

Another aspect some insiders find haunting, is how close to the Anthony home Caylee's remains had been dumped.

Sources say the Anthony's simply gave Casey Anthony "far too much credit" that she would have done something more elaborate with her daughter's body.

Meter Reader May Receive Reward For Findings

Meanwhile, a new reward is being offered to meter reader Roy Kronk for finding the bag of skeletal remains that were determined to belong to missing Caylee Anthony.

According to Kronk's lawyer, David Evans, George and Cindy Anthony's one-time representative Mark NeJame has contacted Kronk regarding a $5,000 reward, which represents the amount of money NeJame made while serving as the Anthony family's representative. For now, it's unclear whether Kronk will accept the offer.

Initially, Crimeline said Roy Kronk was not eligible for a cash reward from them because he called 911 the day he found Caylee's remains instead of Crimeline.

Roy Kronk

A source within Crimeline now said things could be different. They're checking to try to confirm that Kronk called them during the same three days in August he called sheriff's headquarters to report something suspicious along Suburban Drive.

More than two weeks after Kronk discovered Caylee's remains along Suburban Drive, a memorial still draws people by the dozens.

Those who have followed the case closely have different opinions on whether Kronk deserves a reward.

"I think he should be rewarded, definitely," Aida Ramos said.

"If they think they found something, they should call it in," Jennifer Tice said. "That's all there is to it." Tice said doing a good deed should not include an expectation of a cash reward.
"I don't think somebody should be rewarded for that," Tice said. "I mean, that's a child who is missing. That's common sense."

In his only statement to reporters, Kronk confirmed that he reported his suspicions four months before discovering the remains.

"I had previously reported to Crimeline and the sheriff's office that I had spotted something suspicious -- a bag in that same area," Kronk said.

Kronk's lawyer, David Evans, states that "..money is not Kronk's main motivation. But if he qualifies, at the very least, Kronk should receive a Crimeline reward."

When asked why Kronk deserved the reward, NeJame said, "I think Kronk is beyond deserving. Without him, who knows when Caylee would have been found."

Sources confirmed they do not suspect Roy Kronk, the meter reader who found the bag of Caylee’s remains, of playing any sort of sinister role in the case.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note: The original reward posted after Caylee was first reported missing was $250, 000. It was issued in July, 2008 and was to expire after 90 days. (October 2008) The amount was contributed by individuals, both private and public, as well as businesses in the Orlando area. I have yet to hear anyone mention this "expiration date" of the reward. More research to continue...
Also, in one of the jail house video visits between Casey and Cindy and George, Cindy asks Casey if she has heard of the reward for Caylee's return. Casey, trying to not make much of the subject, says "No." When Cindy tells Casey the amount of the reward is $250,000, Casey's only remark is "Whoa, that's half my bond." This was before Casey was bailed out the first time by Leonard Padilla on a $500,000 bond.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe further investigating should be conducted regarding Kronk before any reward is paid. I agree that finding "remains" should not require a monetary reward. There is, at the least, something coincidental about the entire Kronk link" to the case. If the remains had been investigated on Kronk's first call, and identified as Caylee at the onset, I may be a little more lenient. However, with the turn of events, the "three consecutive calls", Kronk's adamant need to remain anonymous, and his immediate hiring of an attorney, I have speculations of my own. Until those circumstances have been totally cleared by LE, then, I may entertain the idea that Kronk deserves this reward. Then again, it is not up to me. ...my two cents

Anthony's Spend First Christmas Without Caylee; Casey Spends Christmas In Jail, Alone

While the Anthony family spends its first Christmas without Caylee, dozens of needy children are enjoying hundreds of gifts donated in the slain toddler's honor.

Cindy Anthony told reporters she was not yet ready to talk on camera, but confirmed via text message she plans to donate additional toys mourners are leaving at the growing memorial where Caylee’s remains were discovered.

The first batch of toys was given to 85 needy children staying at the Orlando Rescue Mission. On Christmas morning, the children played with the gifts near the Christmas tree, which still had leftover gifts underneath.

The shelter said the leftover gifts will be saved for birthdays and other events in the future.

Now that the Orlando Rescue Mission has more gifts than it can use at the moment, Cindy Anthony said she plans to donate additional toys left at her granddaughter’s memorial to other charities in need.

Casey Anthony woke up in an Orange County jail cell on Christmas morning.

Unless she accepts a visit from a jail chaplain, Casey Anthony will spend the holiday alone, as records show no family members have signed up to visit the mother charged with her daughter’s murder.

For Christmas dinner, Casey Anthony will dine on roast beef with gravy, buttered mashed potatoes, creamed corn, bread, and a baked apple crisp for desert.

The meal costs 82 cents.

Cindy and George Anthony: Evidence Accomplices?

George and Cindy Anthony

Are George and Cindy Anthony evidence accomplices? (link to video below)

The Anthony's 22 year old daughter, Casey, sits without bond in an Orlando jail, on first degree murder charges related to the death of her daughter, and the Anthony's granddaughter, Caylee Anthony.

After three search warrants since remains of their granddaughter, Caylee Anthony, were found, some top lawyers are speculative that these grandparents may soon be facing charges themselves.

Resulting from an email hacking of the Anthony's computer over Thanksgiving weekend, an email surfaced raising eyebrows at the grandmother, Cindy. The email led to suspicion of obstruction after the contents referred to a hairbrush that authorities obtained from Cindy. The email, sent to Cindy's then spokesperson, Larry Garrison, stated that she gave authorities a brush that was not dedicated only to Caylee.

According to Cindy Anthony in a previous interview, she stated that she grabbed the "first brush she came to", when law enforcement requested a hairbrush containing known DNA evidence, such as hair. Cindy did not turn over Caylee's personal hairbrush. It was a brush "known to have been used on Caylee at times", and "Casey also used the hairbrush on her hair as well".

What has come to be known now as "Hairbrush-gate", is just one of many inconsistencies in the grandparents' role in the case. Many "mis-truths", as Cindy calls them, have been made by both George and Cindy. First, from the 911 tapes, Cindy describes the smell of death in Casey's car, then waves it off as "rotting pizza". George also states to FBI investigators that he knew the smell was that of decomposition. However, in media interviews and as of their last interview on Larry King: Live, the night before the remains find, George states the smell was due to "as Cindy says, pizza..", and that of garbage and food rotting in Florida 90 degree heat. Then Anthony's had to be subpoenaed to give DNA evidence earlier in the case. Both George and Cindy, as well as their son, Lee, have declined polygraph tests.

Their daughter, Casey, was originally charged on felony child neglect and providing false statements to law enforcement. Cindy countered "lying is not against the law".

We shall see how far the apple falls from the tree.

Caylee Anthony Memorial Toys To Be Donated To Needy Children; Funeral and/or Memorial Arrangements Not Set (updated)

Speaking through attorney Brad Conway, George and Cindy Anthony have made arrangements to have all the toys and stuffed animals donated to the Orlando Rescue Mission. Hundred of toys and stuffed animals are being left at a tree designated as a memorial for Caylee.

Conway said that it was George and Cindy's wish and that Caylee would want as well, for the toys and animals to benefit children that would otherwise not have a Christmas this year. Conway states there are about 88 children that will benefit from the donation.

Also, George and Cindy went to church service this morning. There is no word yet of funeral arrangements or a memorial for Caylee at this time.

The Anthony's said they would like to visit their daughter, Casey, where she is incarcerated at that Orange County jail, but can not because of the taped visitations.

UPDATE: 12/22/08: The general public as well as those leaving mementos at the memorial for Caylee are upset at the Anthony's removal of the items left in memory of Caylee. The Anthony's have agreed that any animals or toys left at the memorial site with notes attached for Caylee will remain at the site, while others will be donated to a local homeless shelter to be distributed to less fortunate children for Christmas. A second memorial has began at the crime scene as well.

**UPDATE 12/22** Search Warrant Executed on Anthony's Home Saturday

(original post with link to video below)

UPDATE 12/22/08:

Crime scene investigators stripped Caylee Anthony's room and then raided Casey's closet during a recent search of the home.

Crime scene investigators have confiscated boxes of items from the Anthony home two times in the past week.

Last Thursday, 12/18/08, investigators were focused on Caylee Anthony. They took her clothes, shoes and her toys.

Over the weekend, another search warrant was executed and investigators came back for Casey Anthony's belongings. They took more of Caylee's clothes, five to eight pairs of Casey shoes and her clothes as well.

Legal expert Bill Sheaffer believes investigators are trying to take as many items as possible to help build their case because they don't have a cause of death.
"Any forensic evidence linking Casey to the scene is extremely important for the states prosecution," said Sheaffer.

We are also told investigators took soil samples from the Anthony home. Once defense attorney Jose Baez found out that the samples were taken as part of the evidence, he sent out his own team and they collected soil from the home for there forensic experts.

It is also reported investigators also took two pairs of sunglasses and a pink-zippered bag.

A search warrant was issued on Cindy and George Anthony's home Saturday afternoon. This is the second search warrant issued on the home since the finding of remains of their granddaughter, Caylee Anthony, age 2, at time of disappearance.

Cindy and George Anthony Release Statement Through Attorney

Brad Conway, attorney for the Anthony's released this statement on behalf of Cindy and George just recently.

Cindy and George Anthony's former attorney, Mark NeJame shares his thoughts on the developments on the day. (see link to video below)

NeJame stated it is heartbreaking for Cindy and George and it is a time to "bless them and grieve them."

Mark NeJame is not going to assist Casey nor the defense team in no way, shape, or form. NeJame says that the Anthony's are eventually going to have to address the false statements that were made on their behalf.

NeJame stated, "You cant catch a fish when its mouth is closed. "Statements were made and now they are going to have to be addressed."

Baez Files More Motions / Zenaida's Atty. Wants to Depose Cindy and George

This is the most work Baez has done in 6 months. Did he ever learn "No" means the end of the conversation?.....my 2 cents

From Fox 35 Orlando:

Casey Anthony’s defense team filed another motion in court on Wednesday, requesting access to examine all the debris from the crime scene before it is discarded.

Because the motion was filed after the Orange County Clerk of Courts closed, the motion is not yet available to the public.

It is not known whether there will be another emergency motion hearing held, similar to Tuesday’s when a judge denied the defense access to photographs and sketches of the crime scene where the remains of a child were found last week.

Brad Conway, the attorney representing George and Cindy Anthony, says his clients will not sit down with attorney John Morgan for a deposition in the Zenaida Gonzalez lawsuit that should happen on Monday.

Casey said she left her missing daughter Caylee with a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez in June. Authorities have not been able to determine this person exists. A local woman with the same name has filed a lawsuit against Casey, saying the publicity of the case and the use of her name has caused her to lose her job and be the victim of threats.

George and Cindy both spent time away from their home Wednesday and a few friends were seen stopping by their Hopespring Drive home. One person even dropped off food at their front door.

Second Anthony Spokesperson to Step Down

Michelle Bart, spokesperson for the Anthony family

The spokesperson for George and Cindy Anthony, the grandparents of missing Orlando toddler Caylee Marie, is stepping down.

Michelle Bart is the second spokesperson to represent the Anthony Family in as many months. She has become a familiar face as the mouthpiece for George and Cindy when they are unavailable.

"I am stepping aside, but I am not going away. I will continue to be here until the end," said Bart in a news conference late Sunday evening.

Bart said she was stepping aside for health reasons. She is preparing to undergo surgery at the end of the month in Washington State.

Bart was preceded by Larry Garrison, who resigned as the Anthony's spokesperson on November 12, for what he called erratic behavior by the Anthony family .

"It is my opinion that others have manipulated them into situations, that would not dignify the family. I can no longer be part of that behavior. I wish them all the peace and resolution they so deserve. The truth always comes out in the end, and in this case "The truth is better than the spin," wrote Garrison in a statement released to the media.

Mark NeJame, then attorney representing George and Cindy, said Garrison demanded money for interviews with the Anthonys, before pocketing the cash for himself.

An invoice released by NBC News shows a $6,500 fee which Garrison charged that news organization, saying it was for the use of family photographs.

*revised* Casey Panics and Anthony's Go to Church *RANT POST*

Rants and such......

As you know, I do not post many of my own opinions on this blog. I keep it straight and to the point. Providing just want the facts and no BS.

I do, however encourage comments. If you feel like leaving one, great! If not, that's great, too! I am just glad that you stopped by to get some information from my blog, and I hope it answered your questions and you found what you were looking for.

Over the reading recent developments and reading and hearing the theories beginning to swirl, I thought it was about time for a "RANT POST"

  1. Remember when the remains were found and Caylee had a "panic attack"? She needed a sedative. When one goes into panic attack mode, they are anxious, scared, their heart pounding. Some are not even sure of the source of their panic. See where I am going with this? Casey was in panic mode because someone had found out her secret. Someone had found the remains of her daughter. It was not reported she was distraught, saddened, or even cried. It was reported Casey had a "panic attack". If someone were to tell me that the remains of my missing 3 year old were found a quarter mile from my home, I would collapse.I would be unable to move, except to curl up into the fetal position. (I can say this because I did exactly the same when I learned of my husband's death, as well as my nephew, who had been missing for 24 hours before he was found just shortly after committing suicide) There is something odd about Casey's reaction, but hey, it just may be me. When it was reported on Thursday that Casey had a panic attack, I immediately thought, "panic?" Why not hysteria? Fits of sobbing? Outrage? Oh no, none of this for Casey, she ordered beef sticks and juice from her commissary and took a sedative for her panic. See commissary purchases on 12/11/08 here
During the other searches, when something was found that may have been of relevance, i.e. Padilla's search of the Little Econ at Jay Blanchard Park, the finding of the beads, shamrock, toys, etc.; See pictures here. All of the reporters were cautious not to make much of the finds. Cindy was at the park during Padilla's search being her uncivilized, Cindy self. Shortly after, we had Dennis Milstead's suspicious past come back to haunt him, causing KidFinders to disband in Orlando. Kidfinders was doing so much to "find" Caylee. And to think, precious Caylee could have been right under their nose. Then we have Michelle Bart, also associated with Kidfinders, as the Anthony's new spokesperson, Larry Garrison, Anthony's first spokesperson, is caught embezzling money, we learn this via Cindy's email being hacked over Thanksgiving weekend. Finally, NeJame resigns as attorney.

After all this bad publicity, Cindy and George take a trip to California to begin a media blitz ending with a disastrous appearance on Larry King: Live, on Wednesday, Dc ember 10, 2008. Lie after lie crept out of George and Cindy's mouths during the interview. They were also going to research a Caylee sighting at Newport Beach and spoke of a sighting tip of Caylee in Tennessee she received that afternoon at 4pm. Little did they know what they were going to come home to.

When the Anthony's arrived late last Thursday night to find their home had been marked as a crime scene, everything changed. Cindy and George were not allowed in their home. They stayed at the Ritz Carlton. Come on, really, The Ritz? There went the Larry King check. Oh well,to each his own.
  • Sunday, Michelle Bart starts the spin. It is Zenaida Gonzalez. The evidence must have been planted, she implied in not so many words. Bart Conway, the Anthony's new attorney, re-reiterated the same information in his presser this afternoon. "Zanny" has something to do with this. Not the Zanny represented by John Morgan, but the Zanny that Casey knows." He has been on this case what, 4 days at most?

I am a Christian. I have a Church I belong to. No, I do not frequent every Sunday. But they are my extended family. During my illness the congregation has been wonderful to check on me and my daughters, to bring food, and ofter to do anything I need. I am in a situation where it is difficult for me to attend church every Sunday, but I also believe that "church is where you find it". I feel prayers are always heard. Especially when you pray during the good and the bad.

  • In the FBI tapes, Cindy states that they do not belong to any church and do not worship in church every Sunday. Now, all of a sudden, they are going to church, when they supposedly want privacy. I am in no way, whatsoever, making light of their seeking God, or visiting church.I am also the last one to judge anyone. I just find it odd when people that do not attend church regularly, and are out in the media every chance they get, are suddenly silent, going to church, and cuddling a teddy bear. (all the while, knowing full well she would be seen) Why not have a private meeting with their pastor at their home. If the Anthony's are begging for privacy, why go to a church they had not been to in years?

I have a problem with people who turn to God when it is "convenient". God should always be with you. During good times, bad times, joyful times, and times of tribulation. Not just when you want Him there. Casey had to have "church visits" on her scheduled visits when on in-home incarceration, but not one church visit did we have witness to.

Actually, in a sense, I admire the Anthony's for going to service yesterday. I just hope it was for the right reasons.I just can't help thinking it was a ploy.

I think back to Casey and how she did things for attention. Reality may conclude this was all for attention, as well. Cindy is not out of the woods, just yet. You know the saying, the apple falls not far from the tree.

Please,I do not want this to turn into a debate on when to go or not to go to church. These are just observations I, as well as many others have made. And they are also my opinions. I just wanted to get them out there.

While at it, what is up with the defense? They should know they can not have access to the crime scene. Why? Because it has not been confirmed to be the remains of Caylee. Just as if it were to turn out to be the remains of another child, there would be no defense team there "observing", because there would not a pending trial for that particular case. There is a pending trial in this case however, but the remains have yet to be identified. To the public anyway. So why would the defense be there in the first place? Judge Strickland denied them specifically any access to the scene, yet there the whole team stands, within feet of it. Am I the only one that sees the common sense in that? Unless, Baez and Company are subliminally letting us know that the remains were those of Caylee. I don't know of any lawyers, other than Baez, that make motions and take up the courts time, "just in case".

We find out from Dr. Henry Lee he is working pro-bono on the case. How surprising. As Nancy Grace says, "Casey couldn't even put gas in her car, how is she paying for these high profile lawyers?" It really is no concern of ours, but I would think it would be of concern to the the residents of the State of Florida. Even though not State appointed, who knows what meandering Baez is capable of. He couldn't come up with the $900+ for copying fees to pick up the evidence documents from the prosecutions' office.

I believe Baez had a streak of good luck and had a great case land in his lap "literally", so he is using it to further his "court time", not to mention his career. Remember he has not enough court / trial hours to be primary counsel on the case.
You can not make this stuff up.
Call in Casey's *ahem* "Dream Team*. All of which, have been on the nightly talk shows, that I love to watch, yes, but they have leaked evidence, and spoken of things, things that you might not want a jury necessarily knowing. I guess the money part is to keep your mouth shut. No money, not shutting of mouth.

Here's a hypothetical: this case goes to trial, Baez has all of his high profile co-counsel, and expert witnesses, yet at the end of the day, Casey is found guilty. What has he accomplished, except face time, of which makes me nauseous, and it's not the chemo.

Finally, please do not let the defense use an insanity plea. Caylee knew the difference between right and wrong, but I do believe that she had huge mental health issues. However, she may have thought she was being smart. The remains were doubled bagged, and duct tape was found, not across the mouth, as to keep it shut, but we know learn it was wrapped around the head. This could lead to the best forensic findings. The duct tape would hold top layer of skin, or epidermis, and hair. Even though hair is one of the first appendages to dissipate after death, the tape held what hair was stuck to the tape in place around the skull. This is all from reports from sources at the scene. One theory and I might add, I had thought of it as well, is that the tape was placed "post-mortem" or after death, to make it look like a staged kidnapping and Caylee was ultimately killed by the kidnappers.

From evidence documents, Casey searched chloroform and neck breaking, missing children, household items weapons and a slew of other searches in March '08.

This adds up to premeditated to me, unless she was writing a thesis paper for her class at Valencia or UCF, oh hell maybe even on UFC, as she and friends were watching at Wild Wings. heh......

(See cast of characters for reference)

Rest in Peace, sweet child, Caylee or not. What a terrible way to leave this world. I think many nights of how the "3's" are a special time in a child's development. A sort of coming into, if you will. The walking has been going on for a while, sentences are starting to become more meaningful, and children that age are so hilariously funny. Not to mention, Caylee or whom ever these remains are, will never laugh again, smile again, hug or be hug. Play in the sunshine and live to experience school, friends, boyfriends, college, then onto marriage and children of her own. What a sad terrible way to die. I firmly believe in the death penalty, but in this case, I pray the lawyers do not put it back on the table. Casey did nothing to lead LE or FBI to Caylee's remains. Along with the economic crimes charges, if they do indeed make it to trial after this one, Casey is going to be behind bars for the remainder of her pathetic life, I do pray. Judge Strickland over ruled the prosecution's request to go forth with the economic crimes trial a few months ago, because it would not be in the best interested of Orange County. People forget how much it does cost to hold a trial. Even if she does not go to trial on the check fraud, I pray she receives life without parole on the first degree murder charge and should be made to face Amy and apologize in open court. That doesn't make it any better, but I want it.
Thank God for Amy Huezinga. If not for her, there is not telling where Casey may be right now.

Now you know why I don't post too many "rants". Believe me, I will from time to time, even if they are added within a post, they will be "italicized", as my thoughts. The also will not be as long as this post. I just feel readers want their information and to go on. Please know, however, I enjoy the comments, they are not moderated, and I leave up each one, whether you believe with me or not. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you knock me or my blog, however, be prepared to be fired back at, so be careful what you say. Most of the time, I let the ignorance roll off my back. There are several in every bunch.

Thank you for visiting and reading and just to let you know, in the coming days, I may be working to add more information to the site. The title and the link will always remain the same, but if it looks different, don't be alarmed. As long as it has SpoiledMom on it, it is me, and it is trademarked. Not that my posts are great, but copiers of my screen name and/or posts, beware.

Have a nice day! It's HumpDay!

Emergeny Hearing to Be Held Today In Casey Anthony Case

Judge Stan Strickland will address three motions filed by Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez.

The motions will ask that the Orange County Sheriff's Office turn over photographs, video recordings and drawings taken at the crime scene where a child's remains were found on Thursday. The location is very near the Anthony home.

A second motion asks that the defense be allowed to conduct a second autopsy on the remains, and the final motion seeks to preserve forensic evidence and appoint a forensic expert for the court.

There will be a livestream of the hearing at 2 p.m. EST/ 1 p.m. CST
I will post a link to the stream momentarily

Meanwhile, investigators continued to work to identify the remains of the child found last week.

For the first time, Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, said they believe the toddler has died.

The crime scene was quiet early Tuesday morning, but investigators were expected to return for a sixth day to search for clues that could lead them to a killer.

The FBI has taken DNA samples and fingerprints from George, Cindy and Lee Anthony. Family attorney Brad Conway said that's to exclude them from investigation.

Conway said both George and Cindy continue to support their daughter.

"Everybody wants to make sure that there are no mistakes made. Everybody wants to make sure that the person responsible for this crime is held responsible for it, and if that happens to be Casey (Anthony), a jury of her peers will have to make that decision," Conway said.

A memorial to Caylee continued to grow on Tuesday. What started as a single cross with flowers attached to it now includes flowers, Teddy bears, balloons and other stuffed animals.

Conway to Seek Immunity for Anthony's

The new lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony spoke to the public Monday. He said he didn’t know about plans to prosecute them on charges related to the case, but he did tell Eyewitness
News that he is seeking immunity for Caylee’s grandparents.
Attorney Brad Conway says he just wants to make sure his clients are protected. He wants to make sure charges aren’t filed later.
George and Cindy Anthony were not ready to address the media, but issued a statement through their attorney Monday. The Anthonys do not plan on making a public statement until the remains found near their home are identified.
Conway said the family is realistic, but hopeful it’s not Caylee.
”The last six months have been the hardest six months of our lives and we understand that the ongoing investigation and prosecution of our daughter, Casey, will consume our lives with conflict,” Conway read from the statement. “Based on recent developments we are realistic but continue to hope and pray that these remains are not those of our precious granddaughter Caylee Marie.”
Once the medical examiner and the defense examine the remains, the remains, if Caylee’s, will be released to the Anthonys.
“If it is Caylee Marie, they will make proper burial,” Conway told Eyewitness News.
Eyewitness News reported last week that sources close to the investigation said they are possibly building a case against Caylee’s grandparents for obstruction of justice. Sources told Eyewitness News, if charges were pursued, it would be after the remains were identified and it would come from the forensic evidence that was recently taken from the Anthony home.
"They have cooperated. They have done nothing,” Conway said.
Conway said he plans to meet with the lead prosecutor and detectives later this week to ask for full immunity for the Anthonys.
“We will not speculate. If the attorney officially decides to ask our office, well will address it then,” said Danielle Taverneri, spokesperson for the State Attorney’s Office.
Conway admits the Anthonys have made conflicting statements in the past. They will be re-interviewed by investigators. He said, for the next interview they give to authorities, there will not be any conflicting statements.
Attorney Brad Conway also said he is representing the Anthonys for free.

CASEY ANTHONY: New Documents Reveal Searches On Chloroform, Neck Breaking; Family Issues, No Pizza Found, and First Description of Zenaida

Nearly 700 pages of evidence released in the Casey Anthony case contain disturbing Internet searches, a accusation of a frame-up and allegations of potential incest in the Anthony family.

The investigation has brought out accusations Casey had been making against those closest to her, namely that her father George has abused her, and that her brother Lee made inappropriate sexual advances toward her once when she was in junior high. The documents show Casey said her mother Cindy did not believe that to be true.

The newly released court documents show Casey Anthony searched for information on chloroform, types of shovels and neck-breaking on her computer in the time before her young daughter Caylee disappeared.

The documents reveal that Casey searched those items in March, at the same time she was also looking on missing children web sites. Casey reported her daughter missing in June. Casey claims she left Caylee with a babysitter but that person has never been found and Casey now stands charged with Caylee’s murder.

DOCUMENT DETAILS

Some of the information found on Casey’s computer also related to the chemicals peroxide, acetone and alcohol, which can be used to make chloroform.
Traces of chloroform were found in the trunk of Casey’s car, along with DNA evidence that suggests the dead body of Caylee had also been in there.
Investigators say they found that Casey’s mother Cindy was not at home when the searches were done. They say she was at work but that her father, George, was not employed at the time.

Casey’s ex-fiance’, Jesse Grund, told investigators he has heard that Casey has been cooking up a story to frame him for Caylee's murder, even though she insists Caylee is alive. Grund claims Casey tried to convince her lawyer, with her mother's help, that Grund killed Caylee because of his "obsession" with her and planted evidence in the back of her (Casey’s) car.

The documents also show there was no rotting pizza in the trunk of Casey’s car. Cindy Anthony has long claimed a horrible smell that detectives have described as the smell of death, was due to a rotting pizza. But the documents show there was nothing but an empty pizza box in a bag in the trunk.

Investigators say when George opened the car trunk at a towing company, with a towing company employee next to him, flies flew out of the trunk. The pair tossed the trash bag that was in the trunk into the dumpster. Later, when investigators went back to it and opened it, they found flies, maggots, and the empty pizza box.

The new records also show that Casey told her parents during a jail visit that her message to "Zenaida," the mysterious nanny, was "she (Zenaida) needs to return Caylee" and "I forgive her.”
Casey hinted that she told Cindy long ago that she might have given someone a key to their house but didn’t say who.

Casey also gave a description of Zenaida: she’s 5-feet, 7-inches tall, has curly brown hair that had been straightened, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown eyes, and a lot of money.

Also released Wednesday, investigators say Casey's slacks, which her mother removed from the car and washed because they reeked of the same odor inside the car, were apparently the same slacks Casey was wearing on the day Caylee disappeared and is believed to have been murdered. Investigators did not ask for those slacks early on because they had already been laundered at least once.

Investigators also say the documents indicate that Casey might have been considering coming clean a couple of times. On the day she was indicted for murder she actually called her attorney from the sheriff's headquarters and hinted she might help investigators find Caylee. But once she talked to him she changed her mind. In August, she was about to meet with her father at the jail but once again it appears her attorney talked her out of it.

FAMILY TENSION

The released documents show Grund also told investigators Cindy wanted Caylee to call her "Mommy" in front of Casey.

Casey's parents' financial problems almost shattered their marriage but ended up saving it because Cindy couldn't afford divorce. The investigation showed Cindy supported George for years. After a knee injury and total knee replacement, George was unemployed for a lengthy period of time. It was then, George told FBI investigators, that he became involved in an Internet money scheme, where he lost tens of thousands of dollars. George states that he "should have known better". It also appears evident that some of the information that George revealed to FBI investigators, Cindy had no knowledge of at the time of the investigation interviews.

The documents also show the following:

Cindy told her mother that Caylee was her life and her mother says if not for Caylee, Cindy might have harmed herself.

Just before Caylee disappeared, Cindy was about to throw Casey out of the house and try to get custody of Caylee. She caught Casey lying. At one point, Cindy talked about choking Casey, presumably out of frustration.

Friends said Casey was "annoyingly giddy" two weeks after investigators believe Casey murdered Caylee because her boyfriend, Tony Lazzaro was returning to Orlando after a trip home to New York for the Fourth of July weekend. Lazzaro told investigators that Caylee was “great” but he did remember telling Casey that he wanted to have sons, because his little sisters taught him how tough it is to raise girls.

Investigators also found Casey's doodling, writing her name as Lazzaro's wife, with hearts in the script.
