Cindy Anthony Writes Eulogy; Places Ad in Orlando Sentinel

wrote this eulogy to her slain granddaughter Caylee Marie Anthony for publication in the Orlando Sentinel -- her first public comments since the toddler's death was confirmed in December. A public memorial service is Tuesday.

ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FILE VIA THE ASSOCIATED PRESS -->
(Eulogy begins)
Caylee Marie Anthony has captivated the hearts of so many people over the course of the last several months. Many feel a great loss for a beautiful child that they never had the opportunity to meet. They quickly fell in love with her beauty and her charming ways, as she read a story to her ailing great-grandfather, whom she loved very much. For those who fell in love with Caylee Marie on national TV, their grief is only temporary, their hearts will soon mend, and their memory of her may eventually fade. But for those who actually had the honor to meet Caylee Marie, it will be much more difficult for them to say goodbye, and their hearts may never heal.

On Aug. 9, 2005, God blessed this Earth with one of his most beautiful children. Caylee Marie was born at 7:14 a.m. in an Orlando hospital. From the moment she was born she forever stole the hearts of her family. Caylee was not only a beautiful baby, but she had a beautiful spirit that will live on in those that truly knew her and loved her.She is survived by her mother, Casey Marie Anthony; her grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony; her uncle Lee Anthony; and her great-grandparents, Alex and Shirley Plesea and Ruth and Lee Anthony.
Caylee's life will be honored in a memorial service open to the public Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Orlando beginning at 10 a.m.
The family is requesting that those with only the purest of hearts and truly honorable intentions attend the service for their beloved child. This service will be a tribute to Caylee's life and a time for Caylee's family and friends to at long last, be together to openly express and share their love for Caylee.
The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1900 Conway Gardens Road in Orlando; Orlando Rescue Mission; or Kid Finders Network.
Because of Caylee, so many other children have been the recipient of the kindness and generosity from those who have donated on her behalf. Donations have been made to numerous organizations such as Toys for Tots, Shriners, St. Jude's Hospital, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Orlando Rescue Mission and Kid Finders Network.
Another child will receive a new smile after receiving multiple reconstructive surgeries to repair a cleft palate.
Because of this outpouring of compassion, the family will continue to honor Caylee's memory by establishing the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. The foundation's purpose will be to continue to generate awareness for missing children and to establish programs to assist in the well-being of those children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times.
Caylee's life may have been short-lived on this earth, but her life will not have ended without a purpose. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Caylee Marie Anthony now has her angel wings and will be watching over so many other children.

*KidFinders Network Founder, Dennis Milstead, was found to have felony charges brought against him and just after Caylee's remains were found, he packed up and left Orlando, leaving his assistant, Michelle Bart, to fill in as spokesperson for the Anthony family. Bart has since resigned after the Brad Conway's hiring as the Anthony attorney, but continues to remain close to the family.

Anthony Family in Final Preparation for Caylee's Memorial on Tuesday

In a written eulogy, Cindy Anthony mentioned people across the country whose lives were touched by her granddaughter and who now mourn her.
"For those who actually had the honor to meet Caylee Marie, it will be much more difficult for them to say goodbye, and their hearts may never heal.
"Caylee's life may have been short-lived on this Earth, but her life will not have ended without a purpose. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Caylee Marie Anthony now has her angel wings and will be watching over so many other children," Cindy Anthony said in the eulogy.
Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, is in the Orange County Jail, and so far has not asked for permission to watch her daughter's memorial service on television.
Corrections spokesman Allen Moore said there's nothing in its policy to prevent Casey Anthony from watching the memorial Tuesday, but she has to ask for that access. Moore said Casey Anthony also has access to a radio and could listen to a simulcast in her protective custody cell.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. and parking lots for media and the public will open at 4 a.m.
Those planning to attend the service should expect tight security.

Leonard Padilla, Bounty Hunter

A list has been compiled by the Anthony's of people who will not be allowed inside Caylee's memorial service. Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla is among those people. Protesters who staked out the family home over the past several months are also not allowed to attend.
A Kansas-based group is planning to protest Tuesday's service. The Web site for members of the Tokepa-based Westboro Baptist Church said they plan to picket outside Caylee's memorial from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. The group gained national notoriety in 1998 when they picketed the funeral of hate crime victim Matthew Sheperd.
Members of the Orlando Police Department spent the afternoon meeting with church staff. A police spokeswoman confirmed officers will be outside the church and in the streets making sure traffic is properly managed.
An OPD spokeswoman said it's not illegal for Westboro group to protest the memorial service as long as they're on public property.

Purses, bags and backpacks also are not allowed. Everyone who attends the service has to pass through a metal detector. The church's worship center seats 5,000 people. The lawyer representing Caylee's grandparents has said he expects the church to be packed.

Already, people from as far as California and New York have told the Orlando Sentinel they plan to attend.

Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing the toddler, cannot attend the service. She is being held without bail at the Orange County Jail, which is near the church.

Anthony, 22, has not requested to watch the service on television.
She does have a transistor radio. A jail spokesman has said no one from his agency will comment on Anthony's jailhouse demeanor or whether she listens to the memorial on her radio.

Caylee Anthony and Samantha Runnion--Cases "Comparisons and Dissimilarities"

Caylee Anthony and Samantha Runnion

During my ongoing, extensive, and exhaustive research of the terrible tragedy of Caylee Anthony, I have found it nearly impossible to find comparisons between this case and other cases of missing children, but one case holds a handful of "comparisons".

That case is that of the then 5 year old, Samantha Runnion. The comparisons, for lack of a better word, seem to start at the beginning of each story. The comparisons which reference Caylee's story are italicised.

Caylee was not reported missing until July 15, 2008. It was only then she reported missing during a series of 911 phone calls made by Cindy Anthony, initially with hopes of having her daughter, Casey, arrested for theft of money and "stealing" a car titled to Cindy and George Anthony, Casey's parents. On the second 911 call, it is mentioned that Caylee had not been seen. Finally, on the third and last 911 call, Cindy states that Caylee is missing and "the babysitter took her".

Those 911 calls were made 31 days after Caylee was supposedly last seen by her Grandfather, George Anthony, on June 16, 2008.

Samantha Runnion went missing on July 15, 2002, when then- five-year-old Samantha was playing with her friend, Sarah Ahn, outside of her home. A man approached, asking if they had seen his chihuahua. Samantha spoke to him briefly and then he grabbed her and pulled her into his car. Samantha, fighting to get free, screamed out to her friend, "Help me! Tell my grandmother!" Sarah ran and told her mother what had happened and the massive manhunt for little Samantha Runnion began.

Caylee Anthony was reported missing July 15, 2008 during a series of 911 phone calls made by her distraught grandmother, Cindy Anthony.

Samantha was just 10 days shy of her sixth birthday when she was abducted. Samantha's birthday is July 26, 1996, and her abduction took place July 16, 2002

Caylee disappeared two months before her third birthday on August 9, 2008.

Sarah Ahn, Samantha's friend and also five-years-old, was able to provide the police with a description of the man and the details about his car. Other witnesses confirmed details for the police. They were looking for a Hispanic man with slicked-back black hair and a thin black mustache, possibly driving a light green Honda or Acura.

Casey Anthony claims her nanny, a Hispanic woman, 25, with curly or sometimes straightened hair, disappeared with Caylee the same day Casey dropped Caylee off at an apartment complex. Casey gave a description of the "nanny's car" as a light color or silver Ford Focus or a Kia Spectra.

The day following Samantha's abduction, July 16, 2002, a traumatized man called 911, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, and reported that he had found a little girl’s nude body along rural Highway 74 in neighboring Riverside County.

On July 16, 2008, Casey Anthony is arrested for felony child neglect and providing false statements to law enforcement. Before she is arrested however, in the early morning hours of July 16, 2008, a mass text is sent from Casey's cell phone stating that Caylee has been missing for 31 days.

Caller’s tips led FBI investigators to Alejandro Avila, 27, a production line supervisor from nearby Lake Elsinore. Avila reportedly denied any involvement in the murder, telling the police that he was 30 miles away on the day of the abduction. His phone and credit card records did not support his alibi.

Casey Anthony lied to law enforcement and FBI investigators regarding her employment, her whereabouts, and the "nanny" that supposedly kidnapped Caylee. Casey continues to this day to lie to authorities about any involvement in the disappearance or murder of her daughter Caylee.
Casey was also charged with economic fraud charges for the theft of monies from an ex-friend's bank account. Casey went on several shopping sprees and withdrew $250 from the ex-friend's bank account while the friend was out of town on vacation. Casey denies any involvement in this charge as well, even though there is video surveillance of Casey at the stores and bank. Casey first informed law enforcement that the last time Caylee was seen was June 9. That date later changed to June 15, 2008, as a video of Cindy, Caylee and Cindy's father came into evidence after Cindy "recalled" visiting her father on Father's Day. Others speculate the new date came about after Cindy's mother, Shirley was interviewed by law enforcement and told of Cindy and Caylee's visit to Cindy's father, where he resides in a nursing home. Shirley Plesea, Cindy's mother had also seen footage of the video as well as pictures Cindy had on her cell phone.

Crystal Cathedral, Garden Grove, CA

On July 24, 2002, nine days after she went missing, Samantha Runnion’s funeral was held at the Crystal Cathedral and a crowd of over 5,500 mourners attended. Mourners received a program with a drawing of Samantha’s – a little girl in a red dress, a house and a heart under a bright blue sky with her favorite saying written, "Be Brave."

On February 10, 2008, Cindy and George Anthony, Caylee's grandparents, will hold a public memorial for their granddaughter, Caylee. Caylee's remains were found December 11, 2008, approximately two months prior to the memorial. The service will be held at First Baptist Church of Orlando on South John Young Parkway. The church can accommodate 5,000 worshipers and mourners.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of people are expected to gather to pay their respects to the murdered child.
Much like Samantha Runnion, Caylee Anthony has captured many people's hearts. Hundreds of people from across the country are expected to attend the Memorial. However, unlike the Samantha Runnion Memorial Service, people attending Caylee Anthony's Memorial will have to pass through a metal detector before entering the church. Also, all bags of any kind will be prohibited, including back packs, cell phones and recording devices. With as many as 5,000 people attending, church officials said they want to make sure everyone is there for the right reason.

In comparison to the Anthony's, Samantha Runnion's mother, Erin Runnion, sat down with Larry King for an interview to discuss her daughter's murder.

The day after the funeral for Samantha Runnion, her mother, Erin Runnion, discussed Samantha's murder on the Larry King Live program. She expressed anger toward the jury that let Alejandro Avila go when he was on trial for a previous charge of molesting two young girls.
Erin Runnion said, "I blame every juror who let him go, every juror who sat on that trial and believed this man over those little girls, I will never understand. And that is why he was out. And that is why his sickness was allowed to do this."Transcript of the Larry King Interview with Erin Runnion (Aired July 25, 2002)

Although there are major differences in the manner of death between the two girls, and as far as "similarities", there are none, per se, to the cases. Samantha was kidnapped, sexually assaulted and murdered. Caylee was murdered, her body left one quarter mile from her home for six months, and her mother denies any involvement, blaming the entire case on a fictitious "nanny". However, I felt the similarities of significant dates, comparison between the two families as well as the other details I have listed above were intriguing enough to notice.

Two crimes against two beautiful children that ultimately ended their lives. Each family belongs the exclusive "club" for families who have lost a child to murder. However, that is where the similarities end between the two families.

Erin Runnion stared into the face of horror and evil, when she met her daughter's killer face to face, only three months after Samantha's murder. Larry King interviewed Erin Runnion a second time, a few days after she faced her daughter’s accused killer for the first time in person at his pre-trial hearing. Erin Runnion told Larry King, "I tried to prepare myself for it, but there was no way I could. It was awful. It was awful. I don't know what it is for everybody else, but I just -- I want so much from that person. I want him to undo what he did. And I want to see some remorse. I want him to know the magnitude of what happened. And we can't get that, and so I was just in instantly flooded with tears."Larry King Interview With Erin Runnion and Mike Carona (Aired September 19, 2002)

Neither George, Cindy, nor Lee Anthony have visited Casey Anthony since her last arrest in October 2008, after a grand jury indictment on first degree murder charges against her daughter, Caylee. Casey has remained in Orange County jail without bond. The family claims they do not visit their daughter because the visits are video taped and will be released to the public.

On August 9, 2002, Alejandro Avila pleaded not guilty to the murder of Samantha Runnion. Public Defender Denise Gragg's request for a delay in the arraignment of Avila for at least a month was denied by an Orange County (CA) Superior Court judge. The judge also scheduled a pretrial hearing for September 16, 2002.
However, on October 7, 2002, a defense request to delay the preliminary hearing for Avila was granted. The hearing changed from October 11, 2002 to December 2, 2002.

Much like we are already hearing from Casey's "Scream Team" of defense lawyers and experts, they are expecting to drag this trial out as long as possible. One plausible reason would be for the case to lose media coverage, therefore it will fall to the back of potential jurors' minds. As of this posting, a change of venue has not yet been filed by Casey's defense team.

Finally, on April 28, 2005, two and a half years after the trial began, Alejandro Avila was found guilty of kidnapping, murder and two counts of sexual assault for the murder of five-year-old Samantha Runnion. On May 11, 2005, the jury began deliberations in the penalty phase of Alejandro Avila after hearing his attorney plead for mercy. On May 16, 2005, the jury deliberated for seven hours over two days before deciding to recommend the death penalty for Alejandro Avila. On July 22, 2005, four days before Samantha's 9th birthday, Orange County(CA) Superior Court Judge William R. Froeberg sentenced Alejandro Avila to death telling the killer he had "forfeited his right to live."

On July 22, 2008, at Casey Anthony's bond hearing, her mother, father, and brother, Lee, testified on her behalf After setting a $500,000 bond for the 22 year old mother, Judge Stan Strickland had harsh words for Casey Anthony, including, that "(Casey) and the truth are strangers", referring to all of the fantastic and outrageous lies she has told law enforcement and FBI investigators in the attempts to find her 2 year old daughter, as well as her seemingly non-involvement in the finding of her daughter.

Erin Runnion and her partner, Ken Donnelly, established the "Joyful Child Fund" out of a commitment to turn Samantha’s tragedy into something positive. The foundation’s focus is on proactive approaches in dealing with the difficult issues of violence against children while celebrating the gift that is every child. Five and a half years after her daughter's murder, Erin still continues to speak at conferences and schools and the Joyful Child Fund is still in active operation.

It has been reported that the Anthony family, in particular, Lee Anthony, has been involved in misappropriation of funds from the fund set up in the early stages of the search for Caylee. Grocery stores that once donated space, food, and other items, as well as accepted money from the public for donations for these items as well as for the family, ceased the donations and the contributions to the search after it was reported in the media that these acts by the family were being investigated. One bank also reportedly closed an account that was originally opened as a Caylee Anthony Trust Fund. Lee Anthony is also under speculation of aiding and abetting in the crime and may face charges related to the case.

Two very different cases, two very different families.

Two beautiful little girls, whose lives were taken too soon.

Two heinous monsters, one behind bars facing the death penalty.
The other, behind bars for now, hopefully, for the remainder of her days,
or until someone with more power than I, agrees that she belongs in a small cell on death row.

Casey Anthony Saga: Guest Blogger's Spin: "Casey and The Fugitive"

I promised you a Guest Blogger, and she is here! She is "Annals". Those from the chat will recognize her, and know she puts her heart and mind into this case each day. She has a sharp ear for catching even the most subtle of inconsistencies in the audios and videos of the case as well as a very discerning way of seeing things, which I love. I hope you enjoy the post, as much as I do! (and hope she continues to write more.)

Hello everyone, I am Annals, your Guest Blogger for today.

SpoiledMom has asked me to guest blog on occasion for her blog, and I am pleased to do it.

I was going to write a posting on how surprising it was to me that Casey Anthony's attorney's outlined their defense strategy in an interview this past week. I was going to tell you why the timing of this interview was so curious to me and what might have influenced them to do this now.

Then, I listened to the interview again, and now, I can't write that post.

Casey Anthony's attorney's, Jose Baez and Linda-Kenney Baden, appeared on the Today show this past Friday. The beginning of the interview was both startling and exciting to me. In making comparison to Casey, the attorney's were talking about the Sam Shepherd murder case, which was so dear to me in my childhood through "The Fugitive" television show. In speaking of Sam Sheppard, Kenney-Baden was saying That the person who seemed to be so guilty; that locals had made the person so guilty; he was so hated; turns out, he was innocent.

In the beginning, I thought Kenney-Baden was saying that Casey is like Sam Shepherd, and like Sam, Casey would be proved innocent in the end because someone else did it. In Sam Sheppard's case, he claimed a one armed man killed his wife. Law enforcement was quick to arrest Sheppard, he then became a fugitive, fighting to prove his innocence, which in the end, it was proven.

I had to listen to the interview several times to pin down just what Jose Baez and Linda Kenney-Baden were actually taking responsibility for saying.

Meredith Vieria pointed out an implied correlation between the two cases, the same correlation I had made. We only knew Sam Sheppard to be innocent, when eventually, it was proven, indeed, another person had killed his wife. Kenney-Baden, who has a background in forensic defense, stated it is her role to show what the science shows, but more importantly, what it doesn't show.

Were they then stating that they will show that someone else killed Caylee? Also in this interview, Baez states, "He wants to scream it from the mountain top", that someone else committed this crime, but that was not in the best interest of his client right now. Baez and Kenny-Baden both firmly stated that they will not reveal their defense strategy until the trial.

And so, Casey's defense did NOT reveal any defense strategies in their Today show interview. Except to say, that if Kenney-Baden is on a defense team, her role is to reveal what the evidence does not show. And, the only correlation of Sam Sheppard to Casey Anthony-that Baez and Kenney-Baden are willing to admit to, at this time, is...Casey is just as hated as Sheppard was, and both were "made guilty" by the locals.

Wow, and here I was thinking that they were saying someone else killed Caylee.

Caylee Anthony Memorial: Leonard Padilla Not Allowed to Attend

Leonard Padilla Announces He "Is On Cindy's List" -- Not Allowed to Attend Memorial For Caylee..

On Tuesday, February 10, 2009, The First Baptist Church of Orlando, is expected to be at full seating capacity of 5,000 for the Public Memorial of Caylee Anthony. It is anticipated that mourners from Orlando, from all parts of Florida and from cities across the country will gather at the church as early as Midnight Tuesday morning, if not earlier, to ensure a seat at the church.

See Continuing Coverage:
Caylee Memorial Details

Security will be tight at the church. Mourners are subject to search and metal detectors. No purses, bags, backpacks, cell phones, cameras, video cameras, and basically any type of technological device with recording capability will be banned from and/or confiscated upon entry to the church. It is also reported that Cindy has "a list" containing names of persons not to be allowed into the memorial. One person on that list, Mr. Leonard Padilla. Leonard Padilla, the bounty hunter from California, who in the beginning, the public did not hold in high regards stemming from his posting Casey's bond, setting her free from her almost 30 days in jail. Padilla had mission, though, he thought he could get Casey to break and offer up the remains of her daughter, or at very least, put Padilla and his expert team of bounty hunters, on the "right track" to find Caylee. Padilla was criticized, mocked, and laughed at. He and his black cowboy hat were on all the news shows. Then, Padilla arrived in Orlando and Casey was free on bond, posted by Padilla's nephew, and partner. As the media had hoped, Padilla's plan, unfortunately, backfired in his face. But don't blame Padilla. He was acting in the best interest of Caylee, not Casey. Now, how does Cindy repay him? By black-listing him from the Memorial.

I have witnessed this burly man shed tears and have heard his voice crack when speaking about Caylee. I have also heard the anger in his voice when speaking of Casey, Cindy and the entire Anthony family. The same family in which he spent the weeks following Casey's release on bond that he helped arrange and pay for. Again, Cindy thanks him by not allowing him to attend the Memorial for the beautiful little girl he worked so diligently to find.

Thankfully, during another round of arrests against Casey, Leonard Padilla and his team were able to revoke Casey's bond, which ensured she stayed behind bars. Eventually, after a brief stint on bond a second time, she was indicted by a grand jury on first degree murder charges of her daughter Caylee.

In my opinion, Leonard can say what many can not say. He tried his damnest. He assisted this family to the best of his abilities, utilizing every resource available to him, and he did it all in the name of Caylee Anthony. He put forth more effort in the search for this precious girl than the grandparents, and especially Casey did at any time.

We have learned through the family attorney, Brad Conway, that neither Caylee's remains, nor a casket, will be at the Memorial. However, Cindy has chosen a song, according to Cindy through Conway, that "will absolutely break our hearts".

I hope Cindy has checked her copyright laws regarding that song. Being that the memorial will be broadcast over the internet and local TV stations in Orlando, she will need to credit the writer, performer, and label unless Cindy is singing it herself...

Caylee Anthony Public Memorial: More Details and Updates

The remains of Caylee Marie Anthony, discovered on December 11th of last year, will finally be honored in a public ceremony. It was announced yesterday that the memorial will be held Tuesday, February 10 at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of Orlando. Thousands of people are expected to gather to pay their respects to the toddler.

The big question on everyone's minds is will Casey Anthony be able to watch the televised event in the Orange County Jail? According to Allen Moore, a rep for the jail, many news outlets are getting the answer wrong.

Everywhere it's being reported Casey will be able to watch it on television. Moore simply says it's just, "inaccurate reporting".

"Yes, she can make a request to watch television," he explains, "but that does not mean it will granted."

The fact is she has made no such request but, explains Moore, "Even if she did there are many variables as to whether she'd be given permission."

There is a television in the unit where Anthony is housed, "but it is rarely on," says Moore.

The reason it's off is a matter of jail operations. Anthony is also housed with psychological observation inmates, who are too easily disrupted by television and discipline inmates who are not allowed to watch TV.

Also, Anthony's status as a "protective custody" inmate makes it difficult to schedule TV time. "When she's out of her cell, everyone else has to be in theirs," says Moore. Then there's the question of if the memorial will be broadcast at a time that coincides with Anthony's time out of her cell.

I hope the jail keeps their word that they will not give Casey preferential treatment. However, I can't help but wonder if there is not "someone" in the jail who is under "Casey's spell" that may try to assist her in watching.

What I really feel is that Jose will just happen to make a scheduled "attorney's visit" at the scheduled Memorial time and with his laptop, that has already been approved for Casey's use, Casey will have access to view the Memorial in the privacy of her attorney visitation room. She can watch via live stream from the local stations in Orlando just as I and thousands of others will on our laptops.

Casey's Jailhouse Radio

Casey Anthony's Jailhouse Radio

One way Anthony might witness her daughter's memorial: that's by listening to it. If the event is broadcast on the radio, she can listen to it on her $21 Sony radio she purchased from the jail's commissary. The radio is specifically designed for inmates in U.S. corrections facilities: it has a transparent case to prevent inmates from using it to conceal things. With all the rumors circulating around about possibly attending private memorials or watching it on TV, it's still not clear if Casey even wants to attend. Could it be it's a ploy from her lawyers to generate sympathy for their client?

George and Cindy To Attend Caylee Memorial; Brad Conway Says Security To Be Tight

Brad Conway Says Security Will Be Tight

George and Cindy Anthony plan to be at a public memorial service for their granddaughter, Caylee, their attorney said Friday afternoon.
Attorney Brad Conway said security will be tight so that no one disrupts the service, which is planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Orlando on John Young Parkway.
However, Conway says that the time for door opening may be moved from 9am to 8am.

Extended Video Of News Conference

The service will be a 5,000-seat worship at the church, which is located at 3000 S. John Young Parkway.
The family finalized plans Thursday for a memorial service for Caylee and everyone is welcome.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of people are expected to gather to pay their respects to the murdered child.
This case has touched many people. Hundreds of people from across the country are expected to attend. However, there are concerns that people with "not good intentions" will try to attened the service and cause disruption.
People attending Tuesday morning will have to pass through a metal detector before they go inside.
Pastors at the First Baptist Church of Orlando said they want this service to reflect the dignity and respect Caylee deserves.
All bags of any kind will be prohibited along with back packs, cell phones and recording devices. With as many as 5,000 people attending, church officials said they want to make sure everyone is there for the right reason.
The public memorial for Caylee is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. Doors open two hours before the service.
It has not been reported if Jose Baez will attend the Memorial.

Casey Anthony: Today Show Clip--Baez and Kenney-Baden Comapre Casey Anthony Case to "The Fugitive"

Baez and Kenney-Baden Appear on the Today Show; Compare Casey to "Bin-Laden"; Baez to "Modern Day Hitler"

(video below)

In an interview with Today show's Meredith Vieria, Jose Baez and Linda Kenney-Baden compare Casey Anthony to "Dr. Sam Sheppard" from the TV show turned movie, "The Fugitive", as well as referencing Casey to Osama Bin Laden. The Defense-Duo also claim prosecution in the case is comparing Jose Baez to a modern day "Hitler". Kenney-Baden had to go back 50 years to even find a case that "resembles this case".

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? How about Susan Smith? Andrea Yates? Oh, I don't know, Scott Peterson? Actually, I do not believe there is anyone you can compare Casey Anthony to, because I have never in my life heard of a person waiting 30 days to report their child missing, have the audacity to tell lie after lie, and lie about lying, and possess the insensitivity to prevent her daughter's remains from being found for almost seven months, and even then, the finding was "happenstance".

Amanda, I feel a rant coming on..Give me a little bit to get it all down.. heh

But for now, I can only ask, why in the hell are these two "Bozos'" peddling interviews on national television? Trying to sell Caylee pictures? Didn't see any. Why are they not behind closed doors day and night trying to figure out some type of defense, if there is any at all, for their client? I am in no way, shape, or form, defending this monster, but the hard truth is she is entitled to a defense.

What really boils my blood is that these two clowns have the audacity to even let this shit spew from their mouth. A precious, beautiful little girl was murdered at the hands of her mother. Was I there? NO. However, I feel I am intelligent and educated enough to read the conclusions from the testing that has been released thus far and form my opinion that the only person who is responsible for Caylee's murder is her mother, Casey Anthony. Hell, it doesn't take a college graduate to understand that Casey is the most logical person that commited the crime. The scientific evidence points to it.

Merideth's comment to Baez, "Who's your 'one-arm man'?", referring to the Sam Sheppard case. Baez looked dumbfounded at the question.
And I loved Linda Kenney-Baden's remark as to how they will show that in fact, the prosecution and LE's testing may not have even been performed, and that the testing is not "science at all". The legal department at the "Body Farm" should be filing defamation against Kenney-Baden at this moment for that remark.

I wish I had kept taping this morning. After the interview of Baez and Kenney-Baden, and right after commercial break, Miss Piggy was in "make-up" for her appearance on the show. Funny the resemblance. At first glance, I thought it was Linda Kenney-Baden..

Casey Anthony Saga: Casey Selling Caylee's Pictures to Pay for High Priced Defense--Nancy Grace 2.5.09

Your Daily Dose of Grace: Thursday 2.5.09 episode

Casey Anthony is trying to sell pictures of Caylee to pay for her defense team. At least one media outlet that was approached nixed the offer.
How does this work? Does Casey have the pictures with her in jail? Don't think so. What pictures are they? I know we have not seen every picture taken of Caylee, but we have seen hundreds. There are still hundreds more scattered through Casey's online Flickr account; as well as ones that were copied from her myspace before it was taken down. We have seen the videos of Caylee and Casey playing in the floor, Caylee's first steps, Caylee's first birthday, Caylee's first Christmas and on and on. Does Casey have no shame? Sorry, chemo brain for a moment.
I am just appalled at the idea that she would sell her dead daughters image, the daughter that she murdered, to pay for her own defense.
The panel also discusses, how much this case is costing Orange County and its taxpayers. ( topic of a posting I posted earlier today)

editor's note:
A recent trial in Georgia, the re-trial of
Brian Nichols, who first escaped from his rape trial to then leave a trail of bloodshed in the courtroom (the judge, court reporter, and a sheriff's deputy) and endured even while he was on the run, when he killed a Federal Agent. Nichols finally found refuge in the apartment of Ashley Smith, a single female, until the next morning when Nichols allowed Ashley to leave to make her visitation to see her daughter. Ashley called authorities and Nichols was ultimately captured.
That case alone has depleted Atlanta's indigent defense fund at a cost of three million dollars.
It is estimated Casey's case is around the $500,000.00 mark now, and its far from over.

First Baptist Church Of Orlando Issues Statement Regarding Caylee Anthony Memorial

From The Orlando Sentinel:
updated: 2.5.09 @ 4:45pm EST

The public memorial service for slain toddler Caylee Marie Anthony will be Tuesday morning.

Brad Conway the lawyer representing Caylee's grandparents, told the Sentinel the service will be at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Orlando.

The public is invited to this service, but the Anthonys and the church do have the right to refuse entry to certain people, Conway said.

First Baptist Orlando just issued a statement regarding the memorial, and said seating for the service will open at 9 a.m.

The church also said: - Use of cell phones, still photo and video cameras are not allowed inside the building. - No bags, purses or backpacks will be allowed inside the building. - Everyone who attends the service must pass through a metal detector.

Senior Pastor David Uth issued the statement:

"I believe God placed First Baptist Church of Orlando here in Central Florida to make a difference in this community, and to love this community. We believe our purpose is to be a lighthouse, especially in difficult and dark times. One of those times is now as we have all been saddened by the death of Caylee Anthony.

As a church, we want to provide hope, healing and the opportunity to experience God's love. We believe that hosting the service will give us the opportunity to minister to a family in need and to a community that is hurting because of the loss of this precious child."

Conway said other details will be released in the near future.

Casey Anthony Saga: KioMarie Cruz Tells All; And Gets Paid- Again - to National Enquirer

"I COULD HAVE SAVED CAYLEE!"
WORLD EXCLUSIVE ENQUIRER INTERVIEW: Casey Anthony's best friend tells all!
"I could have saved Caylee Anthony's life. Her smiling little face will haunt me forever!"
That's the heartbreaking confession of Kiomarie Torres Cruz - best friend of accused murderess Casey Anthony, who police believe killed her 2-year-old daughter Caylee and discarded her like trash in a garbage bag.
In a blockbuster exclusive ENQUIRER interview, the 22-year-old travel agent, who's listed as a prosecution witness in Casey's upcoming murder trial, revealed shocking, never-before-disclosed details of the crime that broke America's heart.
Kiomarie reveals a key piece of information that the prosecution could use to establish motive: Casey never wanted Caylee. In fact, when she was pregnant, she agreed to give up the baby to Kiomarie to adopt the baby…but Casey's mom hated the idea and the plan was dropped.Kiomarie remained so close to Casey that Casey gave Caylee the middle name of Marie, in honor of Kiomarie. In a chilling disclosure, Kiomarie told The ENQUIRER that the area where a body presumed to be Caylee was found was a secret hideaway of Casey's, and that she had long used it as a pet cemetery.Kiomarie and Casey called that area The Zone - a secret place where as girls they would dress all in black and read prayers as they buried their dead pets.Way back in July, Kiomarie says she told police of her suspicions that Caylee's body might be found in The Zone. The cops investigated, but nothing was found in the thick brush until a meter reader stumbled across the remains December 11th.

SEE KioMarie's VIDEO HERE

Related Documents: Read Enquirer Story Here

editor's note:

Real classy, that Kiomarie. I can see why she and Casey were best friends. What shocked me was that "the condom broke"... I figured Casey didn't have time to waste on a condom.
I have a hard time believing that KioMarie may have saved Caylee's life. She may have led LE to Caylee's remains if they had looked closer in the area in the beginning. Although, going back and reading everything that has been released from Kio-Marie, I still have a problem with her story. Even though she may be spot on in some things, she has several holes to account for. In one story she says she had not spoken to Casey since the deal for her to adopt Caylee went sour. And in one story, KioMarie states she spoke to Casey the week before her arrest. Then in another, she states she received a call from Casey the same week, but did not return it.

Another problem I have with KioMarie and I am sure the jury may as well, is that if this case is "something that has been so tragic in your life", as I am sure it has been upsetting to you, but how do you find the time to give paid interviews to the tabloids as you have.
It has been reported KioMarie has already received upwards of $50,000 for her interviews before Christmas. That's what a great friend would do.
Now, I ask, what would a friend that "actually cared for the child that was murdered do"? Hmm, how about keep your mouth shut until trial , so that you retain what little credibility you have to begin with.
Another person profiting off of the murder of this precious little girl.

Is Casey Anthony Being Properly Defended?

Many attorneys and the general public alike seem to agree, that even though they want to see justice prevail for Caylee's murder, Casey may not be getting the defense in her own best interest. Why do we care? If Baez continues his blunders, it will guarantee Casey immediate grounds for appeals once the trial is over, if she is found guilty. The less mistakes by the defense, the fewer appeals on Casey's behalf.
The top two I am can see as of now are: "inadequate defense" and "misrepresentation of counsel", among a host of others. And the trial has not yet begun.

Richard Hornsby, criminal defense attorney, gives his expert opinion on the case in these videos:

Casey Anthony Saga: Caylee Anthony Memorial To Be Held Tuesday 2.10.09

Public Memorial Scheduled; Mourners Subject To Search

The family of Caylee Anthony will hold a public memorial service for the slain girl on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, according to the family attorney. That is almost eight months to the day that Caylee was last seen alive.

Brad Conway, the attorney representing Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, said the memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Orlando, which holds more than 5,000 people.
The church has its own security team, but additional off-duty officers may be hired for crowd control purposes.
It is not known if the girl's remains have been handed over to the family by the defense team representing Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony. The defense team, led by attorney Jose Baez, was examining the bones, which were discovered in December by a meter reader in a wooded area near the Anthony's east Orange County home.
Anthony family attorney, Brad Conway, reports that George Anthony, who recently threatened to commit suicide, remains at his home.
"It's going to be a long road," Conway said. "He's got a lot more to go through."

Orange County Taxpayers Flipping The Bill For Roy Kronk Defense

It has been discovered that Orange County taxpayers have picked up $10,000 in expenses for the attorney representing the former meter reader who discovered Caylee Anthony's remains.
That's according to David Evans, the attorney who has fielded media offers and accompanied Roy Kronk to interviews with detectives working the case.
Kronk is a county employee who this week started a new inventory specialist job.
From here on out Evans said it will be up to the county to decide if they want to continue with the arrangement or have Kronk pick up the legal bill.

Lee Anthony Glad His Father George is Back At Home:

George Anthony's son's lawyer said Lee Anthony is glad to have his father safe at home.
"He's very happy to be back in town and he's very happy to be with his family and continues to spend time with his father who's now out of the hospital and really try to begin to emotionally heal from this entire event," attorney Tom Luka said.
That process will include finally saying goodbye to Caylee, whose remains were discovered almost two months ago in a wooded area near the Anthony family home.

Continuing Battle in Zenaida Gonzalez Civil Suit

The Anthony's have been subpoenaed to testify under oath in the Zenaida Gonzalez civil suit against Casey Anthony. Zenaida claims her reputation has been damaged by false allegations made by Casey Anthony.
Gonzalez's attorney, John Morgan, said he wants to depose the Anthony's in front of the press.
"Then, we have some surprise questions for them that they may have some difficulty answering," he added. (not a surprise now, is it?...editor's note)
Luka said Lee Anthony will have very little to say about that claim, and that Morgan's idea to conduct public depositions won't be allowed by the judge.

Casey Anthony Saga: Former FBI Investigator Reveals Identity of "Todd Black" to Kathi Belich

WFTV's Kathi Belich has broken another story in the Casey Anthony Saga.

Bizarre PR representative for Jose Baez's Law Firm, Todd Black, is actually a security name for "Gil Cabot", according to an FBI investigator Kathi interviewed recently.

(audio below)

Among the other mentioned mis-representations named in the audio between Kathi Belich and the FBI investigator, Nashville singer Chely Wright has also had dealings with Gil Cabot.

During my research on the the PR firm, as mentioned in a previous post, I discovered this article from a local Nashville news paper, "The Nashville Post",
that involves Chely Wright, a former singer/performer for Opryland, and current country music star. More important than the actual lawsuit filed by Ms. Wright in 2006, is the connection with Gil Cabot, as you will see in the documents.
This information is part of my research on the Public Relations Company that is addressed in Nashville, TN. I have been researching the firm for almost 3 weeks.

That posting is still to follow.

Casey Anthony Saga: PR Spokesperson "Todd Black" is 'Security Name' Used By Three People

video below

As if the case of Casey Anthony could not get any more outlandish, we have another person who is, but isn't. First we had Zenaida Gonzalez, the "supposed" nanny of Caylee Anthony. Zenaida was also known as Zanny, or Zanny the Nanny. We have since learned however, there is no "Zanny the Nanny", or at least one that can be identified as "the" Zenaida Fernandaz Gonzalez. Alas, we assume "Zanny" is a figment of Casey's imagination, or perhaps a "security name", a term we heard today linked to the Casey's defense PR.

Right smack dab in the middle of my research on the PR firm AIM, that represents Jose Baez, which just happens to be located 'oh not so far from me' in Tennessee, I find that this little production and management firm also has several names that they are "DBA". (doing business as)

Well low and behold, today, we hear that the PR firm's spokesperson, Todd Black, the same public relations representative that is behind all the bizarre media releases in the past weeks regarding Baez and his 'good character' is not a person at all. This "Todd Black" we have been hearing from, is not one, but three different people. Also, "Todd Black" is actually a security name for the threesome. Still with me?

Watch Video: Todd Black "Security Name"

Just maybe Todd Black and Zenaida Gonzalez will turn out to be the same person as well, and the entire crime can be pinned on the two of, er, them. Sounds like a plan, Baez. I also saw in the want ads, Disney is hiring for the theme park portrayal of "Goofy". Would require wearing a costume, and you don't have to speak. Better get your resume on file, Jose. Maybe you can use Casey as a reference.

To the readers, don't worry, I will publish my research post on Baez's public relations firm as soon as I put the finishing touches on it. Perhaps in time for your morning coffee, if not, at least by this time tomorrow.

Re-air Of Geraldo's Interview with Cindy Anthony

The following is a clip from the Geraldo At Large episode from Sunday, 2.1.09 featuring the "re-air of the infamous Cindy Anthony interview"--with Baez at her side. If you get a chance, after watching this, go back to the Greta interview I posted a few days ago.

Cindy to Geraldo: "Are you freaking kidding me?" You want me to impede an ongoing police investigation?"
Geraldo: "Cindy, I am your friend...."
Cindy: "Well then act like my friend."

As I have continued to say, what a piece of work Cindy Anthony is. We can tell the apple did not fall far from the tree.

Cindy wants help, but when it is offered, she doesn't take it. She wants to be victim #1. Casey is the same, however, she doesn't want the hot white lights of the cameras, she is content with any male figure to give her half a glance. She is in her heyday, even though she is in jail, by having Jose Baez, and his law firm of other male attorneys, at her beckon call. You can tell by her mannerisims, when she sees Jose, she lights up brighter than the night sky on the 4th of July. It is absolutely sickening.

The entire bracelet-gate is making my blood boil over. Who does Casey think she is? Why does she and Baez "think" the rules will bend for them. It clearly states, in any jail for that matter, "NO CONTRABAND...NO ITEMS FROM OUTSIDE SOURCES" Did Baez think they would not search all of the clothing? Did they think just because it was a bracelet, they would let it go? Hell no. And I, for one, am glad. Even if it was just a bracelet, I believe I would have been more mad at the fact Casey had the balls to wear a bracelet with precious Caylee's name on it than I would have been that it got through to her without being noticed.

Now Baez, with Casey holding his balls in her hand, blames it on Cindy, saying Cindy brought the clothes to the jail. I'm not buying that either, at least the "Cindy brought the clothes"..if she brought the clothes, why not stay to see her daughter in court? I can see Brad Conway delivering the clothes to the jail for Cindy, perhaps. Honestly, I think he would have checked the clothing himself, if he had been the one to deliver them. Nonetheless, the whole point of this matter is that Baez and Casey believe that they are the only ones affected in this case. Casey is the victim. We have heard it from her own mouth. She and Cindy continue to fight for who is more victimized. All the while forgetting that there really is an innocent victim. That victim is Caylee Anthony, who remains on a cold steel table, in a body bag in the coronors cooler at the morgue. This precious little girl needs a proper burial of her remains. Her soul is gone, but her remains have withsood enough. It is time for her to be at peace.

Jose Baez and Linda Kenny-Baden Interview w/Geraldo 1.31.09

Geraldo Rivera Interviews Linda Kenney-Baden and Jose Baez Saturday 1.31.09

Side note: Geraldo "teased" viewers Saturday night with an "exclusive" interview with Cindy Anthony that was to air Sunday during/following the Super Bowl.

"Fans" of Geraldo got a huge disappointment when they tuned in as far as the "Cindy Interview". Geraldo was MIA, and Kimberly Guilfoyle guest hosting. You think Geraldo was in Orlando for the "exclusive interview"? NO. I'm thinking he was turning a few back watching the Super Bowl. Kimberly Guilfoyle presented "The Re air of the Infamous Geraldo/Cindy Anthony Interview" also dubbed "Viewer Request".
Fox has sunk to the lowest of the low. The "very right, very red" Fox News used this little ploy in an attempt to gather mostly the a female audience opposed to the Super Bowl. No, I didn't tune in, that's why I have TiVo.. I will air the re air of the "infamous" interview tomorrow morning. I also have another peeve with this episode that we will go into tomorrow...

For your enjoyment, here is the clip of Geraldo with Linda Kenney-Baden and Jose Baez from Saturday: (not the entire show)

(Note: As you can tell this is not one of my usual uploads. Due to my treatment, I had assistance. Bless her though, at least we have the video. I was also watching the UFC fight getting rest... :) Thank you, RJ! You did a great job!)

Jose got one thing right, "he and Linda are the only two that are in Casey's corner". And, no, I do not think she should be overwhelmed to see her attorneys as such to burst out into smile and laughter. What does she have to smile about? These are the attorneys defending her for murdering her beautiful 2 year old daughter.

Casey Anthony: From "Anything But Clothes" to "Anything But County Issued Clothes" Casey Opts For Business Attire For Friday's Hearing

Casey Anthony, sans makeup
and "night club" attire; trades
county issued blues for
business jacket for hearing.

Casey Anthony Transformed; Body Language Expert Comments; Baez Says Media "Is Making Too Much of It."

Casey Anthony has morphed from party girl, to the matronly librarian look. Friday, she wore an ill-fitted gray suit jacket, along with her jail issued pants. She wore her hair curled into a matronly bun and there was no makeup covering the circles under her eyes or the jail pallor showing through in her complexion.
"What you saw today is Casey. I don't know what you mean by different. Maybe the clothing is different, but she's the same person and that's Casey," Baez said after the hearing (full interview). "I think you guys are paying so much attention to it, it really goes back to my objections. It's irrelevant about what she's wearing, what her nails look like, and it has nothing to do with her guilt or innocence."
But a body language expert was watching Casey closely, interpreting her outward appearance and what was underneath.
"Facial expressions were consistent, though, with sadness, with depression," body language expert Susan Constantine commented.

CASEY ARRIVES: Images Video

COURT HEARING: Images Raw Video

The defense did win the judge's help in getting onto the private property where Caylee's remains were found in December (read search scene motion), but it lost its attempt at getting prosecutors kicked off the case (read Baez motion to recuse).
The defense team had argued that a State Attorney's Office complaint to the Florida Bar, against Baez's public relations firm, disqualified the prosecutors.
"Why was it being filed? What was discussed? Was there any motivation?" questioned defense attorney Linda Kenny-Baden.
"If they are suggesting that a Bar complaint is embarrassing to Mr. Baez or time consuming or requires him to hire a lawyer or to take other action, that inures to him not to Miss Anthony," prosecutor Linda Drain argued.
Baez's public relations firm, Press Corps Media, had accused State Attorney Lawson Lamar of playing politics with the case by getting a murder indictment against Casey during his reelection bid (read Press Corps release). Circuit Judge Stan Strickland dismissed the defense's argument in minutes.
"These three aren't involved. I don't know that this affects us. And that's it for that," Judge Strickland said.
Friday afternoon, hours after the 35-minute hearing ended, Judge Stan Strickland denied Baez's motion (read judge's denial) that would force EquuSearch to hand over its records concerning its Caylee searches (read State's response to Baez EquuSearch motion).
An attorney for the search group, Mark NeJame, called the request a "fishing expedition" and told the judge he didn't have jurisdiction to issue a subpoena for the records because the search group was based in Texas, not Florida. None of the volunteer searchers were in the exact spot where Caylee's remains were found, NeJame said (NeJame interview after hearing).
In the judge's denial, he agreed with NeJame in stating that "this Court does not have jurisdiction."
It was also learned it could be a year or more before the case even goes before a jury, but that may be more clear when a status hearing is held in February or March.
"I don't expect this to be ready for trial until later this year, hopefully," prosecutor Linda Drain said.
Cindy Anthony was not in court Friday. Her attorney said she did not want to face the media scrutiny. But lately, the Anthony's' attorney has been backing away from insisting Casey is innocent, instead saying the Anthony's don't know and that a jury will determine that.

Jose Baez Tries to Slip Contraband to Casey in Jail

Casey Anthony may have been slipped some contraband in the suit she wore to court for Friday's hearing. Jail officials discovered a "Caylee" bracelet stashed in the clothes Jose Baez dropped off this week.

VIDEO REPORT: Baez Tried To Smuggle Bracelet To Casey

The Orange County jail guards found it inside Casey's clothing, which Jose Baez dropped off right at the visitation center. The jail said, because it's a rubber band and not a weapon, no harm, no foul.
When Casey Anthony walked into court Friday, she was wearing a gray business suit. Attorney Jose Baez dropped it off at the Orange County jail Wednesday. But Eyewitness News has learned Baez also wanted his client to wear a Caylee bracelet, so he put it in one of her socks.
That's considered contraband and jail guards confiscated it.
Jail spokesman Allen Moore said the bracelet had the inscription "Forever in our hearts Caylee Marie Anthony" on it. Moore said, technically, it is contraband but there is no evidence that there was any malicious intent to smuggle in the bracelet.
The jail considers the incident a closed routine matter and Baez will be notified that bracelets are not allowed. Moore said, if the item had been illegal or dangerous, the jail would have called law enforcement to investigate.
It's not the first time Baez has been the center of questionable behavior at the jail. In October, Eyewitness News reported Casey's attorney violated policy when he hugged her twice. Guards told Baez touching his client was not allowed.
The jail would not go on camera about the bracelet incident and Orange County Corrections Department Chief Michael Tidwell is aware of what happened.
A spokesperson said Casey Anthony didn't even see the bracelet.

Casey Anthony To Answer Pertinent Questions

Casey Anthony may soon be asked if she knows who killed her daughter, Caylee, in a questionnaire from the attorneys representing Zenaida Gonzalez.

Document: Questionnaire to be answered by Casey Anthony.

A woman named Zenaida Gonzalez, who has the only known link to Sawgrass, has filed a civil defamation suit against Anthony, claiming she has been harmed by being linked to the case.

Earlier this month, a judge ordered that Anthony answer written questions from Gonzalez's attorney, Keith Mitnik, as a compromise after Anthony's attorneys refused to allow her to be deposed in person.

"We got a lot of things to ask -- some more important than others -- but we got lots of questions," Mitnik said after the Jan. 8 hearing.

The questionnaire contains numerous questions, including:

Do you know who killed Caylee? (Caylee's name is misspelled on the questionnaire)

Do you admit the story you told law enforcement that Caylee was with someone named Zenaida Gonzalez the last time you saw her is not true?

The questionnaire also asks Anthony about Gonzalez:

How many children did she have?

What were the children's names?

What kind of car did she drive?

Did she have any tattoos?

"We want the answers to those questions as fast as we can get them," said Mitnik. "This thing isn't about money. It's about this lady's reputation that's been trashed in the worst possible way."

Anthony can choose to take the 5th Amendment and not answer the questions, although Mitnik has argued that he does not think it applies.

Public Memorial Planned for Caylee Anthony

A public memorial service has been planned for Caylee Anthony, but an exact time and date has not been determined.

The memorial service for the slain 2-year-old will be held at the First Baptist Orlando church.

The service will be held in the main Worship Center of the John Young Parkway Campus.

Senior Pastor of First Baptist Orlando Dr. David Uth issued a statement regarding the memorial service.

"I believe God placed First Baptist Church of Orlando here in Central Florida to make a difference in this community, and to love this community," he said. "We believe our purpose is to be a lighthouse, especially in difficult and dark times. One of those times is now as we have all been saddened by the death of Caylee Anthony. As a church, we want to provide hope, healing and the opportunity to experience God's love. We believe that hosting the service will give us the opportunity to minister to a family in need and to a community that is hurting because of the loss of this precious child."

The church's 130-acre main campus is located at 3000 S. John Young Parkway at the intersection of Interstate 4, southwest of downtown Orlando.

Specific details about the service will be released as soon as additional information is available.

Originally, there was an official date set for Caylee's memorial in early February.

However, another statement was issued saying the time and date will be announced when more information is available.

George and Cindy Anthony's attorney said the family doesn't want a memorial until it can bury Caylee. Caylee's immediate family will attend the memorial service.
