Casey Anthony's Attorney to Request Motion for Change of Venue

Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, is expected to request a motion for change of venue as early as this week. This motion, if granted, would have Casey's trial held in another location other than Orlando. Some venues considered have been Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa.

Legal experts and other attorneys said they can't imagine the judge holding the trial in Orlando because of all the publicity the case has attracted.
The trial will likely be moved to another metropolitan area like Jacksonville or Miami.

However, another alternative would be for jurors from other parts of the state to be brought to Orlando and sequestered.

Either option will be costly.

"The more complicated the case gets, the more money it costs the taxpayer to try this ... You have to move everybody, the court reporters, the attorneys," attorney Leticia Marques said.
